10.30-11.00: civil marriage
The civil ceremony was conducted by the Mayor of Delft, Hein van Oorschot, in the Town Hall. It was attended by close family and friends of the bride and groom and dignitaries (some 50 guests).

11.30-13.00: church wedding
The church ceremony took place in the Oude Kerk. The Reverend Carel A. ter Linden, Minister Emeritus of the Kloosterkerk, The Hague, officiated. Guests included close family and friends of the bride and groom, members of foreign royal families and other dignitaries (some 1400 guests).
Departure by car for Noordeinde Palace.
Arrival at Noordeinde Palace for lunch. About 300 guests were invited for the lunch. Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands left before the lunch started.
Bride and groom appeared at the balcony of Noordeinde Palace. They were cheered by a few hundred people, who saw finally the kiss.
