Stepmothers: Ashi Dorji Wangmo Wangchuck (1955), Ashi Tshering Pem Wangchuck (1957) and Ashi Sangay Choden Wangchuck (1963). In 1979 Jigme Singye Wangchuck married to four sisters, all daughters of Yab Ugen Dorji and Yum Thuiji Zam.
Brother: Dasho Jigme Dorji Wangchuck (1986)
Sister: Ashi Dechen Yangzom (1981)
Halfbrothers: Dasho Jigyel Ugyen Wangchuck (1984), Dasho Khamsum Singhye Wangchuck (1985) and Dasho Ugyen Jigme Wangchuck (1994).

Further facts: He became the 5th Dragon King of Bhutan on 14 December 2006, after the abdication of his father. He was crowned on 6 November 2008. He is the youngest monarch and head of state in the world.
