A birth in the Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg family

A wonderful message reached me yesterday. Pieter Haitsma Mulier and his wife Princess Vanessa zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg with great joy and pleasure announce the birth of their first son Louis-Gaspard Otto George Haitsma Mulier on 14 August 2013. Little Louis was born at 9.43am and weighed 3440 gramms. Both mother and son are doing fine. Louis is a name that is in use on both sides of the family. The other names are the ones of his paternal and maternal grandfather, and his paternal step-grandfather.

The civil marriage of Pieter Haitsma Mulier and his wife Princess Vanessa zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg took place at Chelsea Registry office in London on 25 November 2006. The religious marriage took place at the ev. Stadtkirche at Bad Berleburg on 8 September 2007. Their first daughter Selina Isabella Annette Marie was born on 23 April 2007 in London. A second daughter, Felicia Catharina Anna Antonia, was born on 28 May 2010. And I can imagine not only the parents, but also his two sisters are over the moon with their little brother and playmate.

Louis Haitsma Mulier was born at the Klinik Diakonissen in Salzburg, Austria.
