At home: what could you do?

Luckily I have work and as usual work at home, so my life hasn’t really changed thus far, apart from not having been able to really go out for more than two weeks now because of a cough. Of course I follow all news online, although – as I use Twitter for work – I just get a tiring overload of Corona-news.

I can imagine these times must especially be very difficult for people in the essential professions, or the people who stay at home and can’t work. Scare is reigning the world right now. All I can do is give some royalty related tips. And if you don’t like them, just get yourself another hobby than shopping. There is so much on my to-do list, that I don’t think I ever manage to complete the list. And please take care and stay healthy!

Play and craft

I just noticed there are quite a few (royal) games and puzzles in my closets that I could enjoy myself with if I have nothing better to do. Sometimes they might be a bit difficult to play, as I am alone. Furthermore I have enough Ministeck to play with. Or probably I could finally start knitting my own royal dolls although that would mean that I have to start learning how to knit again.

Genealogy

Start researching your own family tree or explore the royal and noble ones. I can guarantee you, you will always discover something new. At least I never get bored. There is a lot to be found on the internet.

Books

So many books have been written in history, that there are always enough books to read. It is the time to learn more about royals and historical events that you’re interested in, or discover new ones.

Cooking

Start making royal recipes. I just loved the cookbook of The Hubb Community Kitchen and Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex. Otherwise try out some royal recipes. It seems if it is cooked or baked and you have made far too much to eat, you might be able to bring some to your neighbours or an old people’s home.
