A noble October wedding in Bamberg

In Spring 2021 Count Philipp Schenk von Stauffenberg and Maira Tolardo-Mooser already got married civilly. They finally married religiously in the Dom Church in Bamberg, Germany, on 15 October 2022.

The bride entered the church with her father Bertram Mooser on the “Prince of Denmark’s March” of Jeremiah Clarke. She wore a white dress that was created for her in Brazil. The wedding was led by Pastor Vitus von Waldburg zu Zeil und Hohenems. The bridal couple had chosen six witnesses. After the wedding the bride and groom left in the Bentley 4 1/4 Oldtimer from 1937, in which the bride also had arrived at church. The reception and evening party took place at Jägersburg Castle near Forchheim.

Among the about 250 guests were members of the families Württemberg, Hohenzollern, Liechtenstein, Löwenstein-Wertheim-Freudenberg, Oettingen-Wallerstein, Schönburg-Wiesentheid, Waldburg zu Zeil und Trauchburg, Waldburg zu Wolfegg und Waldsee, Königsegg-Aulendorff, Toerring-Jettenbach, Schenk von Stauffenberg, Arco-Zinneberg and Drechsel.

The groom was born 1990 as son of Count Christoph Schenk von Stauffenberg and his wife Monika née Countess zu Waldburg-Zeil und Trauchburg. The bride is of German-Brazilian origin, and was born in 1991 as daughter of Bertram Mooser and Nancy Meire Tolardo.
