Swedish Royal Wedding

As I am sure everybody knows Princess Madeleine of Sweden will finally get married tomorrow, 8 June, to Christopher O’Neill. The wedding starts at 4pm local time. Where can you watch when you’re not in Sweden?

Of course the Swedes themselves broadcast the wedding. See for the livestream of SVT here from 3pm to 9pm. Time is already running so you can hardly miss it. Tv4 already starts at 2.30pm, see here.

Also the Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet has “tv” on their website. In case non of the others work, this might well go well. Even when the quality might be a bit less. And not to forget newspaper Expressen that is already broadcasting as of 6pm tonight from the Grand Hotel, where a party is being held.

The German channel ZDF broadcasts the wedding from 3pm to 6.15pm on television and on their livestream. Comment by royalty experts Julia Melchior and Norbert Loh.

What I of course don’t know is whether any of these livestreams can be watched abroad to. But it is surely worth a try. Because you wouldn’t like to miss the wedding of the year, do you?
